The Blue Star Museums Program Starts Memorial Day, May 30
We invite New Hampshire museums and historical sites to once again participate in the Blue Star Museums program, which offers free admission to active military personnel and their families between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Last year, 35 New Hampshire museums and historical sites participated!
The Blue Star Museum program is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts. There is no charge to become a member.
The program is a great way to say “thank you” to our military personnel—and to let more people know about outstanding museums and historical sites in New Hampshire.
So far, New Hampshire has 24 participating organizations and we are hoping for more. See the list here.
The New Hampshire Department of Cultural Resources will help promote NH’s Blue Star Museum participants to the media and will provide links to the program from the Department’s website: http://www.nh.gov/nhculture/
